Dr. Patrick Dailey Joins RHR International


CHICAGO, July 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RHR International announced today that Dr. Patrick Dailey has joined the firm as a member of its Board and CEO Services practice. In addition to extensive experience with board governance issues, Dr. Dailey excels in enhancing overall board effectiveness and the capability of individual directors. His areas of expertise include board and committee policy work; integration of newly appointed directors; board governance survey assessments; and board, Lead Director, and committee leadership initiatives. A major focus of his career has been the building of strong partnerships between the Chair/Lead Director and the CEO.

A sought after speaker on corporate governance topics, Dr. Dailey is also an accomplished author whose articles have appeared in Chief Executive magazine, the European Business Review, Directorship, Corporate Board magazine, Directors and Boards, and other professionally-focused publications.

In the C-suite, his expertise extends to "hands on" CEO Succession (for both emergency and long term transition); team effectiveness; and CEO/senior executive selection, evaluation, and coaching. He also has significant experience in coaching senior executives to be attractive board candidates and finding opportunities for them to serve.

Dr. Dailey received his Ph.D. and master's degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Oklahoma. In his career, has served as a senior HR executive at Hewlett Packard, Lucent, Herbalife and British Oxygen. He currently serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee for the National Association of Corporate Directors, Atlanta and is a member of the American Psychological Association. Prior to joining RHR, Dr. Dailey was a founding partner in BoardQuest, a board consultancy firm.
