TOKYO, July 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Epiq Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPIQ), a leading provider of managed technology for the global legal profession, today announced that Daisuke Nakajima has joined the company's Tokyo office as Manager of Business Development, eDiscovery Solutions, Japan.
Nakajima will be responsible for growing Epiq's client base in Japan and working closely with Epiq's international units to drive growth. He has six years of eDiscovery experience heading Ji2's and UBIC's business development efforts in Japan, and holds a Bachelor of Science in international sales from Hawaiian Pacific University.
Epiq's office is located in the heart of Tokyo's legal community and includes document review services with a capacity for more than 30 reviewers. On staff are licensed US attorneys with Japan-based eDiscovery and digital evidence experience. Last year, Epiq also expanded operations in Asia by opening a data center in Shanghai to supplement its long-standing Hong Kong processing, hosting and document review facility.
