The Merchant Risk Council - The Leading eCommerce Industry Association Elects Regional Advisory Boards


SEATTLE, July 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Merchant Risk Council's (MRC) Americas Advisory Board (AAB) and the European Advisory Board (EAB) today announced the election of nine new board members, five on the AAB and four on the EAB. The new members include fraud and payments professionals from merchants and service provider companies, including CardinalCommerce, Epoch, Experian – 41st Parameter, GoPro, Groupon, Odigeo, Ticketmaster and TravelPlanet24. 

"Ecommerce is evolving at a significant rate. It is vital that the MRC continues to promote excellence throughout our membership and it begins at our board level," said Rossini Zumwalt, MRC Global Board of Directors Chair. "These new members will have the ability to impact the efraud and epayments industry in a beneficial way."

The MRC's regional boards are designed to address the emerging risks and the questions of its contingency within their respective geographic areas.
