HARTFORD, Conn., July 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connecticut Children's Medical Center is pleased to announce the recent appointment of four new physicians to its Divisions of Hematology and Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Sleep Medicine and General Pediatrics.
Natalie Bezler, MD joined the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Dr. Bezler comes to Connecticut Children's from the Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, where she completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology in 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree from The College of William and Mary and earned her medical degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine, where she also completed residency and a chief residency in pediatrics.
Eric Hoppa, MD, FAAP, joined the Division of Emergency Medicine at Connecticut Children's. Dr. Hoppa comes to Connecticut Children's from Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. Dr. Hoppa earned his Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Maryland and medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his pediatric residency at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital.
Jay D. Kenkare, MD, joined the Division of Sleep Medicine at Connecticut Children's. Dr. Kenkare comes to Connecticut Children's from Waterbury Hospital Regional Sleep Center where he has served as Medical Director since 2008. Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science from Rutgers University and earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Kenkare completed his residency in Internal Medicine through the Yale Internal Medicine Primary Care Program and his fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Gaylord Hospital.
Nancy Miller, MD joined the Division of General Pediatrics at Connecticut Children's. Dr. Miller comes to Connecticut Children's from the Department of Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center, where she completed her residency in Medicine-Pediatrics. Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science from Duke University and completed both her medical degree and Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina.
