Dr. Donald Ringer, DC announced that chiropractor Dr. Jesus Cazares, DC joined Ringer Chiropractic earlier this year.

"Dr. Cazares has overcome many obstacles in his life and is a true inspiration to our community," said Dr. Ringer. "I am thrilled he will be joining our practice. His passionate commitment to whole body wellness will bring many important benefits to our patients."

During childhood, Dr. Cazares saw first-hand the struggles that many people in his local community face, including working in the farming fields. This experience as a young boy instilled in him a deep commitment to continue his education.

After his high school graduation, Dr. Cazares says he was determined to go to college. During this time his mother also passed away. Despite this painful loss and numerous challenges, he successfully completed two A.A. degrees from Delta College in Stockton. Dr. Cazares went on to earn his B.S. in biological science from California State University-Sacramento in 2010.

In order to finance his undergraduate work, Dr. Cazares worked part-time at a parcel delivery company. One day, Dr. Cazares sustained a traumatic back injury when lifting a heavy package.

"While this injury was incredibly painful, I am also in some ways grateful that it occurred," said Dr. Cazares. "Because of this injury, I discovered chiropractic care and experienced first-hand the benefits of chiropractic adjustments for pain management and injury rehabilitation. I knew then that I wanted to continue my education so I could also treat those who are in need."

With his degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Cazares says he is excited to use his bilingual skills to reach out to the Hispanic community and educate them on the benefits of chiropractic care. Dr. Cazares is also active in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, reaching out to the Latino community in the Stockton/Tracy area.

"I feel a great deal of pride to have come to the United States as a young boy who didn't speak English and worked in the fields—and now I'm a doctor," says Dr. Cazares. "I hope my journey inspires others with the knowledge that through hard work and dedication, it is always possible to achieve your goals and dreams."

Ringer Chiropractic offers chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, auto injury treatment, and more. Area patients in need of natural pain relief are urged to call the practice.
