ATLANTA, GA (JULY 28, 2014) Amoena, the world's leading breast care brand, announces its breast cancer awareness initiatives for the month of October, which directly give back to the community it's committed to serving. The company is driven by its mission--to support women every moment of every day--and particularly during national Breast Cancer Awareness month. This year, with the purchase of its Passionate Pink Valletta Tank, or its Passionate Pink Power sports bra, Amoena will donate one dollar, from the sale of each, toward Breast Cancer Awareness programs. Proceeds from the Passionate Pink Valletta Tank will go to the All4One Alliance, with proceeds from the Passionate Pink Power sports bra going to Young Survival Coalition. Plus, during the month of October, women will receive a limited edition Infinite Hope bracelet with any Amoena purchase, at select retailers.

"Partnering with All4One and Young Survival Coalition is a wonderful opportunity for Amoena to actively take part in the education and awareness of early detection and breast cancer prevention, as well as provide products and services that assist in recovery to women who may otherwise have to go without," said Malissa Magyar, Global Marketing Director for Amoena.  "We are honored to be able to donate to these well-deserving organizations.  Both of these charities align with Amoena's belief in being a companion for women--providing the comfort, support and style women need as they reclaim their confidence."

All4One Alliance works to raise funds for women and assist them by providing access to products and services that will enhance the quality of life after recovery.  "We consider Amoena our partner to further our mission to support women in need. The company's generosity and support of All4One reinforces our shared passion of helping women overcome the effects of breast cancer," said Mary Lou Woodford, Executive Director and Co-Founder of All4One

Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is another group with which Amoena has worked closely.  YSC provides resources, connections and outreach to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, offering women support, empowerment and hope.

Jenna Glazer, Chief Development Officer for Young Survival Coalition, stressed the importance of their organization and its partnership with Amoena, "We rely heavily on key partnerships with companies and individuals who can help YSC reach young women at an important stage of their diagnosis. Amoena has been a longstanding supporter of YSC, and we are grateful for the company's steadfast commitment to giving back to survivors."

Products that Meet Survivors' Needs

The products funding the donation also reflect Amoena's commitment to the cause and meeting the needs of survivors. The Valletta Tank, part of the 24/7 line of every day wear, is Amoena's popular camisole top that features a built-in pocketed shelf bra that can hold a full or partial breast form and provides the ultimate in comfort. With lightly padded cups for shape and support, and elastic bottom band ensuring security, this tank is a favorite go-to piece.

The Power active wear bra is made from soft, comfortable, fabric - providing a medium range of support, with Coolmax pockets to keep a woman cool and comfortable before, during and after her workout.  All Amoena active wear tops have a built-in shelf bra with pockets for a full or partial breast form, symmetry shaper or enhancer, providing not only comfort but ease of wear for all of a woman's work out needs.
