COSTA MESA, Calif., July 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As part of its continued support of the Orange County Rescue Mission, the employees of Morgan Drexen Integrated Systems (http://morgandrexen.com) have announced a clothing drive competition to be held at its company headquarters. The two week clothing drive competition is scheduled to begin Friday August, 1st with the goal of raising thousands of pounds of gently used clothing to help those in need at the Rescue Mission.
"Last October our company had a food donation competition for the Orange County Rescue Mission, and the results exceeded all expectations with more than 3,000 pounds of canned and boxed food being donated." said Morgan Drexen CEO Walter Ledda, "Events like our food drive, holiday gift drive, and the clothing drive, all make a big difference to those who are less fortunate and turn to the Orange County Rescue Mission for help."

The timing of the clothing drive competition was also arranged to coincide with back to school shopping for children and teenagers, who are likely to replace existing clothes with new ones before heading back to school.
