WellSpring School of Allied Health Announces First Students to Graduate From New Associate Degree Program, Launches Graduate Discount

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwired - Jul 29, 2014) -  WellSpring School of Allied Health's new massage and fitness integrative associate degree program had a successful inaugural semester. The health and wellness school recently announced Danielle Walker, Curt Searcy and Adam Chicones as the first students to graduate from the program, which combines massage therapy and personal training into an associate degree of occupational studies.

According to Walker, the integrative degree made her a more attractive candidate to massage and fitness employers alike, as well as her customers. "It was easy for me to find work. The degree also has the side benefit of making me more credible with my clients, who often take my advice seriously and apply it with positive results."

Don Farquharson, president of WellSpring, said, "We're very proud of our students. Not only were Danielle, Curt and Adam the first students to earn an associate degree from our new program, all three earned top grades as well as academic achievement awards. The students have reacted very positively toward the program, so we're excited to continue it moving forward."

Additionally, Farquharson highlighted the graduate discount for students who have already completed WellSpring's massage or personal training programs and want to take the complementary program. Depending on which program the graduates have completed, students can enjoy significant savings when compared to taking the two programs separately.

Walker said, "I'd recommend Wellspring because attending changed my life and my perspective. When I enrolled, I was only thinking survival. The bonus was discovering my passion for massage and wellness. Now, I'm thriving."
