Mr. Gorny joins the team of experienced commercial bankers who are expanding WSFS' presence in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Most recently, Mr. Gorny served as a Commercial Banking Team Leader at First Niagara for the last seven years. At First Niagara, Mr. Gorny managed a team of commercial relationship managers, underwriters, cash management representatives and administrative support personnel. He was also responsible for all portfolio management and credit quality requirements. Mr. Gorny has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in portfolio management, commercial relationships and business development.
Mr. Gorny graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Cum Laude. He serves as Advisory Board Chairman at the Jennersville YMCA, and is a director on the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley Association Board. Mr. Gorny has also been active with the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, Chester County Economic Development Council, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter.
