ChinaCache Appoints Former Verizon and Nielsen Executives to Lead Worldwide Growth Initiatives


BEIJING, July 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ChinaCache International Holdings Ltd. ("ChinaCache" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:CCIH), the leading total solutions provider of Internet content and application delivery services in China, announced today that it has named Ms. Yali Z. Liu as Vice President, Global Business Development. Ms. Liu will lead business development activities with carriers, content providers, media and enterprise customers globally. ChinaCache also named Mr. René Bos as Vice President, Global Corporate Development, to lead the company's worldwide marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining ChinaCache, Ms. Liu spent over 18 years with Verizon (including a predecessor company, MCI) and was instrumental in expanding Verizon's data service coverage to more than 140 countries. Her most recent position with Verizon was Executive Director - Carrier and Global Networks, where she led a team responsible for Verizon's worldwide product and technology development.

Yali holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Peking University, a M.S. degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas, and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Dallas. Yali holds a U.S. patent in VoIP technology and won the Distinguished Achiever in Technology Award at the U.S. National Women of Color Technology Award Conference in 2005.

Mr. René Bos will oversee the Company's global marketing programs, and assist in planning and executing the organizational development needed to support ChinaCache's global growth strategy.

Prior to joining ChinaCache, René was Executive Director, Nielsen Asia-Pacific, where he was responsible for the development of online customized marketing research in the region. Prior to Nielsen, he was Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific Region of SSI, a U.S. online sampling service provider. Rene holds an MSc. in International Relations from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
