LAS VEGAS, Nev., July 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The 2014 FLYING Aviation Expo is excited to announce it will host the crowd-favorite Parade of Planes at the event scheduled for Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in Palm Springs, Calif.
The Parade of Planes is set for Thursday, Oct. 30 and Nov. 2. The planes will taxi from the Palm Springs International Airport to the Palm Springs Convention Center, traveling down East Alejo Road to North Avenida Caballeros to the cheers of participants and fans.
The parade is reversed on Sunday, Nov. 2, as the planes will taxi back to the airport.
"There's nothing quite like the Parade of Planes anywhere else in the country," said Marco Parrotto, president of Lift Event Management, who is planning and organizing the event along with Urban Expositions. "It allows fans to get up close and personal with some of the most sophisticated airplanes in the country and in the world."
Numerous planes are expected to participate and hundreds will be lining the streets to feel the power of the airplanes.
Also participating in the Parade are exotic luxury cars from Dream Racing, a company from Las Vegas that allows fans to drive cars like a Ferrari F430 GT around Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dream Racing will be on site at the Aviation Expo providing attendees the experience to drive some of the finest vehicles in the world.
The Parade of Planes is a great kickstart of the Expo, which will host 10,000 pilots, industry experts and aircraft enthusiasts and give attendees the opportunity to see the latest products, talk to industry experts and see the unveiling of the Triton airplane concept.
Tickets and registration are available for purchase online at http://www.aviation-xpo.com. Early-bird tickets start at just $35 per day. An all-inclusive three-day pass includes access to seminars, the exhibit hall, Parade of Planes, Friday night kick-off party and Saturday night event for only $210. Early bird pricing is available until August 29.
