On 15th of November, 2013 JSC „Riga Shipyard” has signed a contract with Danish company JSC “Karstensens Skibsværft” for motor fishing vessel, with total sum of EUR 3 620 000,00 (three million six hundred and twenty thousand Euros, 00 euro cents). At this moment there is on-going building process of this vessel, which is to be concluded on 15th of March, 2015.
The payment is made in stages according to the building works that have been done.
The Contract magnitude and the trust of foreign company approves that JSC “Riga Shipyard” has trustworthy quality, even more, this establishes the position of JSC “Riga Shipyard” in the international shipbuilding market. This also gives the company additional experience, which allows building even more grand vessels for the future. This particular bargain stabilizes the companies’ financial situation as well, which allows planning successful future business operations.
