FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Army Contracting Command–Aberdeen Proving Ground has awarded ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) a task order to provide command, control, and communications system field software engineering support to the Army's Software Engineering Center. The cost-plus-fixed-fee task order was awarded under the Software and Systems Engineering Services contract and has a 12-month base period of performance and one 12-month option period, with a potential total value to ManTech of $89.4 million.
Under the contract, ManTech will continue to provide worldwide garrison, exercise, and combat operations support to the users of strategic and tactical command, control, and communications systems. ManTech will also provide field support for logistics management systems and training support for overseas mission command training centers.
