ATLANTA, Aug. 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aptean announced today the appointment of Kim Eaton as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Eaton will oversee all aspects of Aptean's global operations, including Product Development, Professional Services and Support as well as Training and Education.

Ms. Eaton brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the technology industry, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager for NCR Corporation's Hospitality Division.

Aptean's previous Chief Operating Officer, Kenneth Frank, will move to an executive leadership position in a new company within the portfolio of Aptean's owner, Vista Equity Partners, after an appropriate transition period.
