(Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that Jerry Beaman, most recently President of Kratos' Unmanned Combat Aerial Systems Division (KUCAS), has been named President of Kratos' newly formed Unmanned Systems Division (KUSD). Mr. Beaman, as President of KUSD, will be responsible for all Kratos unmanned aerial, ground, sea borne, drone and combat system related programs and initiatives.
Approximately 20 percent of Kratos' total business supports various unmanned system or robotic programs and platforms, with KUSD being the single largest contributor to the unmanned area. KUSD is a leading provider of high performance unmanned aerial drone and target systems and command, control, communication and robotic systems for unmanned aerial, ground and sea borne platforms.

He directed activities for 58,000 personnel responsible for homeland defense, support for civil authorities and for providing relevant training and certification for all West Coast naval forces, including four aircraft carrier strike groups, one expeditionary strike group, four large deck amphibious ships, over 70 surface combatants, 32 submarines and over 400 aircraft. In his naval career of 35 years, Vice Admiral Beaman also served as Deputy Chief of Staff Operations Global Force Management, Training and Experimentation, Fleet Forces Command; Deputy Chief of Staff Operations, Joint Forces Command; and Commander, Strike Force Training Pacific, in addition to numerous other positions.
