New Veterinary Technician Joins Dessau Veterinary Clinic

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dessau Veterinary Clinic announced that veterinary technician Arianna ("Ari") has joined the practice. Arianna, who is passionate about animals and their wellbeing, has worked in veterinary medicine since graduating from high school. A graduate of Austin Community College, Arianna gained substantial hands-on experience caring for animals while working at the Austin Human Society. Prior to joining Dessau Veterinary Clinic, Arianna worked as a veterinary technician at South First Pet Hospital.

Austin veterinarian Dr. Kellee Campbell announced that a new veterinary technician has joined her animal hospital, Dessau Veterinary Clinic. Arianna is the newest addition to the animal clinic's veterinary care team.

"We are excited to welcome Arianna to our veterinary care team as our newest veterinary technician," said Dr. Campbell. "Arianna's passion for animals truly shines through in everything that she does. She epitomizes our hospital's philosophy of care: go above and beyond in every way possible for pets and their owners."

Arianna has been passionate about animal care from an early age. She decided when she was 13 that she wanted to work in the field of veterinary care. After graduating from high school, Arianna studied at Austin Community College, completing coursework requirements to become a veterinary technician.

Arianna gained valuable hands-on experience working with animals at the Austin Humane Society and credits the opportunity for helping her develop her pet care skills. Arianna's first job was in 2012 with South First Pet Hospital.

"I had an incredibly positive experience working with both the Austin Humane Society and at South First Pet Hospital," said Arianna. "I feel lucky to have had both opportunities to further my skills in veterinary medicine and I am confident these experiences have prepared me to be the best technician that I can be."

At Dessau Veterinary Clinic, Arianna will assist the veterinarians with obtaining and maintaining pet health records, administering diagnostic exams, preparing animals and instruments for surgery, and providing general assistance. Dr. Campbell says veterinary technicians like Arianna are an integral part of the veterinary care team.

"As long as I've been interested in veterinary medicine, I have been hearing amazing things about Dr. Campbell and her passion for pet care," said Arianna. "I'm thrilled to be working alongside Dr. Campbell, Dr. Susan Waage and the very talented veterinary team members. Besides being in a very positive and fun environment, I can tell from working alongside Dr. Campbell that she is a great veterinarian, and that she shares the same love and compassion for animals that I have. I hope to be at Dessau Vet Clinic for a very long time doing what I love."

Dessau Veterinary Clinic provides comprehensive animal veterinary services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, pet dental care, emergency vet care, pet grooming, and pet boarding.
