SterlingRisk Announces Jillian Menna As General Counsel

WOODBURY, N.Y., Aug. 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SterlingRisk, a leading national insurance brokerage, announced that Jillian Menna has been appointed General Counsel. Ms. Menna will be focused on all legal aspects of SterlingRisk's brokerage operations.

Ms. Menna began her career as an Insurance Coverage Attorney with the law firm of L'Abbate, Balkan, Colavita and Contini, LLP, located in Garden City, New York, where she focused her practice solely on the representation of insurers covering a broad range of complex matters involving all lines of coverage. Prior to her association with SterlingRisk, Ms. Menna was employed as General Counsel/Risk Manager for Quik Park NYC, LLC, in New York, New York.

A licensed Property and Casualty broker, Ms. Menna received her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Touro Law Center, where she was a member and the Managing Editor of the Law Review. She is admitted to practice law in the courts of the state of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.

Ms. Menna has been on the Executive Board of the New York City Association of Insurance Women since 2006 and is currently the acting President-Elect for the 2014-2015 term.
