SRV will close its South-East Finland regional unit, located in Lappeenranta, as of 1 September 2014. The unit’s personnel will be offered work in the Group’s other units. The unit includes 22 employees.
“SRV has had to review its business structure in a changing market environment. The review has focused on, among other things, the impact of Finland’s market situation and the Russian situation on SRV’s business and development prospects in South-East Finland,” says SRV’s Vice President responsible for domestic regional units, Antero Nuutinen.
The project sites for which the unit is responsible are located mainly outside Lappeenranta and their work will continue without interruption.
“We will be able to manage South-East Finland’s current and possible future projects from our other units,” says Nuutinen.
In addition to its Espoo head office, SRV has regional units in Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Joensuu and Oulu.
