WSFS Named a "Top Workplace" for Ninth Year in a Row

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced it has been ranked on The News Journal's "2014 Top Workplaces" list for the ninth consecutive year. Ninety-six companies across the State of Delaware participated in the "Top Workplaces" survey, which has been analyzing Delaware's business community for the past fifteen years. The Top 60 were recognized in three categories: Top 10 Large, Top 25 Midsize, and Top 25 Small employers.

This year WSFS was ranked third in the Large Company category and, for the sixth year in a row, was ranked in the Top 3. In addition, WSFS received the Training Award based on receiving the highest score on the question "I get the formal training I want for my career" across all companies participating in the survey. The "Top Workplaces" survey evaluates companies in the following categories: direction, execution, connection, my work, my manager, and my pay & benefits based on employee participation.
