Max Alfthan (53) has been appointed Executive Vice President responsible for
Marketing and Communications as of November 17(th), 2014. He will be a Member of
the Executive Board and will report to Henrik Ehrnrooth, President and CEO, KONE
Max Alfthan has a strong and versatile background in leading marketing and
communications activities in various companies. He has held several senior
management positions including at Sinebrychoff and Amer Sports Corporation. For
the last six years he has served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Fiskars. Max
Alfthan has a M.Sc. (Econ.) degree from the Swedish School of Economics in

valuable global marketing and communications experience as well as innovative
