The Movie & Music Network (DIDG) Announces Significant Increases in New Programming

HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Movie & Music Network (OTC:DIDG) is aggressively ramping up its content through acquisitions and several key creative partnerships.

The Hollywood, California-based online provider's offerings have grown nearly threefold since the beginning of 2014, currently numbering over 4000 film and TV titles streaming across 44 channels. In addition, it recently launched MJ360.TV, a stand-alone channel dedicated entirely to the cannabis lifestyle, to strong positive reviews.

"Because of the unique programming of MJ360, our intent is to make it one of the main focal points of our network," stated Movie & Music Network CEO Martin Greenwald.

The company has signed an agreement with hip-hop artist OG Daddy V, which brings roughly 30 hours of never-before-seen footage of Snoop Dogg and the other artists around him at the outset of his career. The first episode is set to air before the end of August, with later ones added every few weeks.

MJ360's initial content includes the live streaming of the cannabis-lifestyle show, "Grass Roots," and "James Bong," a 420-inspired spy spoof. In addition, "Let's Be Blunt," a madcap reality show hosted by Kato Kaelin, described as "Girls Gone Wild" meets "Jerry Springer," will launch before the end of the month.

Other MJ360 strategic partnerships include online zines The Joint Blog and Smoking With Style, Skunk Magazine, a cannabis mag with 800,000 loyal readers, and online broadcaster Cult Radio A-Go-Go, whose weekly cult-movie radio show attracts over 500,000 listeners internationally.

"We're very excited about all of our new partnerships," added Greenwald, "and we're quite confident that the direct exposure to millions of cannabis users is acting as a lightning rod to attract viewership. It's a very exciting time for us at The Movie & Music Network as the internet broadcast space is expanding every month," he noted. "We continue adding subscribers as our programming attracts a wider audience."
