ALM Announces 30th Annual LegalTech West Coast Moving to San Francisco in 2015

NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ALM Events today announced that LegalTech West Coast, the largest legal technology event in the Western U.S., will be relocated to a new venue in San Francisco for 2015.

The 30th anniversary of the annual gathering, which has been held in Los Angeles since 1985, will be held next year on July 13th-14th at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.

"The relocation of LegalTech West Coast to Northern California is a natural step in the evolution of this event as it moves us closer to the most innovative technology companies in the Bay Area, the epicenter of high-tech businesses," said Henry Dicker, vice president of ALM Events. "Moreover, this new venue will better position us to serve the growing number of law firms and companies with in-house law departments in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley."

San Francisco and the Silicon Valley region are home to more than 160 law firms and many of the world's largest technology companies including Apple, Google, Facebook, Adobe Systems, Yahoo, Intel and eBay.

The educational component of LegalTech West Coast 2015 will once again feature multiple tracks of cutting-edge content, focused on how technology is playing an important role in the legal industry. More details regarding specific topics and speakers will be announced in the spring of 2015.

LegalTech West Coast is presented by ALM Events, a leading producer of educational and networking events for business leaders and professionals. Other ALM events include ALM Legal Conferences, Insight Information Conferences and the RealShare Conference series for commercial real estate professionals.
