FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silver Airways, Florida's next generation regional airline, today started nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), further expanding its intra-Florida flying. This marks Silver's 16th intra-Florida route. Silver kicked off the new service on Tuesday with up to three flights per day, offering a variety of convenient travel options for both business and leisure travelers. Silver plans to further increase frequencies on this route in November.
