Hatcher will lead Cubic's corporate communications and public relations function, and report to Jay Thomas, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cubic Corporation.
In this role, Hatcher will be responsible for further developing Cubic's corporate external, internal and marketing communication strategies, to ensure consistent messages are delivered in a well-coordinated manner across various stakeholders.

Hatcher joins Cubic from Life Technologies, a biotechnology company recently acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she served in a global role as director of corporate communications and public relations. Previously, she worked at CareFusion and Sempra Energy in a variety of communication leadership roles.
