SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 25, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today introduced Great Rated!™ from Great Place to Work® as a Gold Sponsor of the 2014 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards.

"While organizations look to recruit, engage and hire the right candidate for the job, job seekers are equally interested in finding the right position at the right company. That's why Great Rated!, like the Candidate Experience Awards, uses survey data and insights to provide a true picture of the workplace in order to elevate the hiring experience," said Kim Peters, CEO of Great Rated! from Great Place to Work. "The Candidate Experience Awards is an invaluable resource for those organizations and individuals focused on understanding and improving the standard for candidate experience, both at their company and across the board, and we are excited to help support their mission."

Launched in 2011, the CandE Awards is an annual competition that benchmarks the current state of the candidate experience and celebrates outstanding recruiting strategies that provide candidates with a consistent and positive experience. The CandE Awards has grown significantly over the last three years, evaluating survey responses from more than 46,000 candidates who applied to approximately 95 forward-thinking companies in 2013. This year's program has grown exponentially, with more than 170 companies participating and more than 95,000 candidate survey responses submitted.

Peters will provide additional support for the program as a member of the CandE Council, which is comprised of some of the leading voices in HR and talent acquisition. The Council helps steer the future of the program by creating deeper awareness of the program, conducting employer and candidate surveys, sharing ideas and ensuring Talent Board has access to the latest information and reports about candidate experience. In addition to the Council, both the organizations will promote companies that are setting and raising the bar by identifying CandE Awards winners and Great Rated! organizations on their respective websites. This will give extra recognition to companies that are providing great experiences for candidates and give greater visibility into the companies that treat their employees well.

Gerry Crispin, co-founder of Talent Board and principal and chief navigator at CareerXroads, commented, "Great Rated! from Great Place to Work provides job seekers with information on workplaces and hiring practices far beyond the typical candidate experience. Great Rated! helps countless candidates with a realistic, detailed and validated look inside the companies where they want to work, which is key in creating a more positive and transparent candidate experience. We are thrilled to have Great Rated! as a sponsor of the 2014 program and look forward to making this a record year for the CandE Awards."

The 2014 CandE Awards program is in progress with a record number of employers registered. This year's winners will be announced and celebrated at a special event to be held in Chicago on Thursday, September 18, 2014. For more information, please visit:
