Hans Edin appointed Group Head of Television, Peter de Mönnink to lead SBS Broadcasting

Sanoma has appointed Hans Edin Group Head of Television as of 1 January 2015. For the last one and a half years he has been interim CEO of SBS Broadcasting, Sanoma’s Dutch television joint venture with Talpa Media. As of 1 October 2014, Peter de Mönnink will start leading SBS Broadcasting. De Mönnink, CEO of Sanoma Media Netherlands, will combine this responsibility with his present duties.

As Group Head of Television Hans Edin will be responsible for developing Sanoma’s future TV strategy and building operational excellence in the TV operations. In this role he will cooperate closely with Sanoma’s TV management in the Netherlands and Finland. Edin will also join the Supervisory Board of SBS Broadcasting and reports to Sanoma’s President and CEO Harri-Pekka Kaukonen.
