Skanska to rebuild central street and renovate properties in Oslo, Norway, for NOK 320 M, about SEK 347 M


Skanska has signed a contract with Storebrand Eiendom to rebuild a part of
Ruseløkkveien and renovate the surrounding houses and car park in Oslo, Norway.
The contract value is NOK 320 M, about SEK 347 M, which will be included in
order bookings for Skanska Norway for the third quarter of 2014.
The project will turn a part of Ruseløkkveien from traffic road to pedestrian
street. The total area of the project is about 25,000 square meters.

Work began in August 2014 and is expected to be completed during summer 2016.

Skanska Norway focuses on construction and civil engineering operations. The
unit has approximately 4,500 employees. In 2013, Skanska Norway reported revenue
of SEK 14.3 billion. In Norway, Skanska is also active in the development of
residential, commercial properties and public private partnerships (PPP)
projects.
