Legally binding permits for 11 turbines in "Treriksröset" project

Following a ruling by the Svea Court of Appeal on the Treriksröset project,
Arise has expanded its project portfolio with permits for eleven new turbines.
Arise had appealed the ruling of the environmental court to the Environmental
Court of Appeal, and in December the latter gave permission for the case could
be heard, which is unusual.

A final ruling has now been made as a result of which the Company will be
permitted to build eleven turbines. The Court of Appeal has thus overturned the
decisions of the county administrative board and environmental court in favour
of the Company. Another consequence of the ruling is that the method of
measuring the noise produced by a wind turbine will be simplified, which will
benefit the whole industry.

The project is now ready to move on to a phase preparatory phase, which will
begin immediately with the aim of commencing construction as soon as all
preparatory work has been completed.
