From September 9, 2014, Genium Consolidated Feed test environment GCF3 will have a test version of the new Global Index Calculator (GIC) source system connected.
The current production-‘GCF’ ID-codes, i.e. TIP IdCode, for the indexes will remain the same when migrated to GIC-source, but the source ID-codes, i.e. TIP SourceId will be new. The new production source ID-codes will be provided on October 6, 2014.
TIP-message BasicDataIndex (BDIn):
IdCode = same as today
SourceId = new
The GIC-source, TIP field SourceSystem = 1, will from September 9, have index content available.*
Background
NASDAQ OMX® will start to calculate Nordic and Baltic equity indexes and other related indexes via its state-of-the-art Global Index Calculator powered by NASDAQ OMX INET® technology — the world's fastest trading system technology.
In Genium Consolidated Feed (GCF), the indexes will be connected to a new source that replaces the current ICS sources. ICS sources not affected by this migration project will continue to be available in GCF.
