Syntel Appoints Christopher Mason to Lead North American Sales Efforts


TROY, Mich., Sept. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntel (Nasdaq:SYNT), a global provider of digital transformation, information technology and knowledge process services, today announced the appointment of Christopher Mason as Head – North America Sales, effective September 8, 2014.

In this role, he will lead Syntel's business development efforts, develop strategies for driving growth within the Company's strategic client accounts, and work to identify and acquire new clients in the Americas.

Prior to joining Syntel, Mr. Mason served as Global Head of Business Development for the global sourcing division at Infosys, where his responsibilities included leading pursuits of deals valued at greater than $50 million. He was also instrumental in closing several large deals for that company.

His past experience also includes a previous stint at Syntel, where he served as the Company's Midwest Regional Sales Director from 1996 until 1999, leading business development efforts and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies.
