Nordea issues Additional Tier 1 instruments at record low coupons

Nordea has further strengthened its capital base by issuing Additional Tier 1
instruments amounting to USD 1.5bn. USD 1bn is a Perpetual Non-callable 5 year

strengthening Nordea’s position as one of the strongest capitalised banks in
Europe. After the new transaction, Nordea’s Tier 1 capital ratio is 17.0% pro
