Bit9 + Carbon Black Appoints David Flower Managing Director for EMEA

Flower's extensive experience will drive company's continued growth in the region


WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bit9® + Carbon Black®, the leader in endpoint threat prevention, detection and response, today announced the appointment of David Flower to the new position of managing director for the EMEA region.

Flower comes to Bit9 + Carbon Black with extensive experience across all major business functions, developing and driving strategy, execution and integration for several high-tech leaders. He joins the company from Everbridge, Inc., where he was senior vice president of sales for EMEA.

Prior to Everbridge, Flower was vice president of EMEA sales at Gomez Inc., where he launched the company in EMEA and generated 20 percent of overall company revenue in just three years. Compuware Corp. acquired Gomez and named Flower vice president of EMEA sales, where he drove $150 million in annual revenue. Earlier in his career Flower spent 12 years at MapInfo Corp. as vice president of EMEA sales where the organization he built delivered 40 percent of company revenue.
