Alphatec Spine to Showcase Product Portfolio at EuroSpine 2014 in Lyon, France


CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alphatec Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATEC), the parent company of Alphatec Spine, Inc., a global provider of spinal fusion technologies, announced today that it will showcase its product portfolio at the upcoming EuroSpine 2014 meeting, which is being held in Lyon, France, from October 1st to October 3rd, 2014. Alphatec Spine will be located in booth number B18 at the Cité Internationale Centre des Congrès and will host a workshop entitled, "Less Invasive Solutions – Complex Spine Pathology" on October 2nd, 2014.

This year Alphatec Spine will be showcasing key products from all of its major portfolio segments including, MIS, Thoracolumbar, Interbody, Cervical and Biologics. Key products that will be highlighted in Alphatec Spine's booth and workshops will include the ILLICO® Multi-Level MIS system, the OsseoScrew® spinal fixation system, the Zodiac® DVR (Direct Vertebral Rotation) Deformity system, the DiscoCerv® artificial disc system, the Trestle Luxe® Anterior Cervical Plating system and the BridgePoint® MIS spinous process fixation system. Additionally, the Company will also be highlighting several of its Biologics products that are designed to be integrated in a surgical procedure to aid in fusion.

In addition, on Thursday, October 2nd at 12:00pm in Room Bellecour 1 on Level 1, Alphatec Spine will be hosting a workshop entitled, "Less Invasive Solutions – Complex Spine Pathology", featuring presentations and facilitation by key thought leaders in spinal surgery: Mr. Michael Wong, neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, hands-on participation under the facilitation of Dr. Gad Velan, Chief of Spine Surgery at The Soroka Medical Center in Israel, and Prof. Nikolai Gabrovsky, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Hospital Pirogov in Bulgaria.
