(Nasdaq:EFOI), a leader in LED lighting technologies announced that as of September 29, 2014, its tubular LED (TLED) lighting products are now listed on the US General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules. This listing makes Energy Focus LED products readily accessible to GSA's procurement channels for all buildings and agencies throughout the United States. The GSA owns and leases over 375 million square feet of space in 9,600 buildings in more than 2,200 communities nationwide.
The GSA assists with procurement for U.S. government agencies and partners. As part of this effort, it maintains the GSA Schedules—composed of pre-negotiated contracts with qualified suppliers—from which other agencies can view and purchase approved products and services with assurances that the suppliers have passed stringent contracting standards based on past, proven performances.
