CHICAGO, Ill., Sept. 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today a new educational offering, Options Glossary Illustrated. OIC's Options Glossary Illustrated is an ongoing series of short, animated clips that explain basic options terms and key concepts. The series is now available on OIC's YouTube channel.

Options Glossary Illustrated is the latest addition to OIC's comprehensive curriculum available through the Options Education Program. Each glossary segment brings to life a different options term using an animation technique called kinetic typography, which combines moving text and voiceover narration. Learning the language of options is a key component of OIC's Options Education Program and this glossary was designed to help investors learn basic options terms in an engaging and accessible format. The series covers a variety of topics starting with the most basic of questions in the first segment: What are Options?

You can watch the first four videos in Options Glossary Illustrated on OIC's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/OptionsEdu. More glossary terms will be released and available on YouTube each month.
