Ice and Tele2 Norway sign an agreement on frequency lease and purchase of infrastructure


Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2
B). Ice Communication Norge AS and the Tele2 owned telecom operator Mobile
Norway AS have signed an agreement on lease of frequencies on the 900 MHz band.
As a part of the agreement, Ice intends to purchase parts of Tele2’s mobile
network infrastructure if the Norwegian Competition Authority approves
TeliaSonera AB’s acquisition of Tele2 in Norway.
Through the agreement with Ice, Tele2 Norway have gained access to 5 MHz in the
900 band as of the 1:st of October, 2014 until the 1:st of April, 2015.

If the Norwegian Competition Authority approves TeliaSoneras AB’s acquisition of
Tele2’s Norwegian operations, Ice will purchase parts of Tele2’s network
infrastructure. This section of the agreement consists of a fixed part and an
alternative in terms of number of base stations and the time of the acquisition.

The parties have agreed not to disclose any information about the details of the
commercial terms or provide further comments regarding the agreement.
