The Wilmington Awards are designed to recognize and honor the outstanding accomplishments of Wilmington citizens. In its 12th year, the awards were presented during a ceremony on October 1, 2014 at the Wilmington City Council Chambers. For over 20 years, Mr. Kocher has volunteered with the YMCA of Delaware and currently sits on their Board of Trustees. He serves on the Board of the Wilmington Renaissance Corporation and is a member of the Midtown Brandywine Neighbors Association where he resides. In addition, he has coached several sports teams and remains a passionate advocate for the Wilmington Community.
