Sinfonia Family Services of Virginia, Inc. Merges With Behavioral Health In-Home Agency in Richmond, Virginia


TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sinfonía Family Services of Virginia, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinfonía HealthCare Corporation, has merged with Family & Community Support Systems, LLC (FCSS). FCSS is a licensed behavioral health and in-home treatment provider, serving a number of contracts, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The company will continue to operate within the Commonwealth as Family & Community Support Systems.

Sinfonía HealthCare Corporation is a national health care company founded by Fletcher J. McCusker, former CEO and founder of Providence Service Corporation (Nasdaq:PRSC).

Headquartered in Farmville, Family & Community Support Systems will be led by Virginia State Director Glenn O. Fowlkes. Glenn joined Sinfonía in July 2014, after 19 years with Virginia-based Family Preservation Services. Julia Griffith, founder of FCSS, will continue to serve clients from the Richmond location.
