Former FHFA Senior Associate Director Meg Burns Joins The Collingwood Group as Managing Director

Leading Authority on Housing Finance Policy Brings Her Expertise to Collingwood

In her new role, Meg will leverage her considerable regulatory experience and housing policy expertise to promote the development and adoption of policies and initiatives that will help bring greater clarity and confidence to the housing finance industry.

Since 2010, Burns has served at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), most recently as Senior Associate Director for Housing and Regulatory Policy. In that role, she administered policy and regulatory initiatives involving single-family and multifamily finance, credit loss mitigation strategies, housing markets, and housing mission responsibilities of government-sponsored enterprises in the housing finance sphere – Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks. She also has served as FHFA's Senior Associate Director for Congressional Affairs and Communications, handling all external relations and communications with the press, the industry, and Congress.
