Martin Best Appointed Managing Director of Willis Management (Guernsey) Limited


LONDON, Oct. 6, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willis Group Holdings (NYSE:WSH), the global risk adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Martin Best as the Managing Director of Willis Management (Guernsey) Ltd, a leading provider of insurance management and consulting services on the island of Guernsey.

In his new role, Best will report to Paul Owens, Chief Executive Officer of Willis Global Captive Management. He has worked within the Willis Captive business since joining the company in 1998, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Willis's International Captive operations. In his new role, Best will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service for Willis's captive insurance clients on Guernsey.

Guernsey, a British Crown dependency and one of the Channel Islands, is the leading captive domicile in the European region with over 300 companies and over 450 cells licensed for insurance purposes, writing premiums of £4.63 billion per annum.
