Chairman of the Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi Mr. Robert John Gallienne has informed Supervisory Council of his retirement as of 01.11.2014.
Mr. Robert John Gallienne has been involved with AS Tallinna Vesi for almost twelve years. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of the Management Board of AS Tallinna Vesi between 2002 and 2006. Right after that the General Meeting of Shareholders of AS Tallinn Vesi elected him as Supervisory Council member, and Supervisory Council elected him as a Chairman of the Supervisory Council. Mr. Gallienne has been re-elected to these positions for several consecutive terms.

The Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi would like to thank Mr. Gallienne for his tremendous contribution to the company throughout 12 years in all roles served.
The proposal of the Supervisory Council to the Extraordinary General Meeting of AS Tallinna Vesi is to elect Mr. Martin Padley as a Supervisory Council member as of 01.11.2014.
Mr. Padley has nearly 20 years of experience in water industry in a number of technical and quality management roles. He has been working as a Chief Scientific and Quality Officer in United Utilities for 1,5 years and has served more than 17 years on various managerial positions in the Company. Mr. Padley is a chartered chemist and he holds a PhD in industrial surface chemistry. He is active in a number of external water and utility industry technical groups. “Considering this experience and expertise, the Supervisory Council is of the opinion that Mr. Martin Padley will contribute to the continuously high levels of service that AS Tallinna Vesi has been providing to its consumers, including high-quality drinking water, reliable water supply and wastewater service,” Mr. Mart Mägi said. Mr. Padley does not hold any shares of AS Tallinna Vesi.
Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi has decided to appoint Mr. Simon Roger Gardiner as the Chairman of the Supervisory Council as of 01.11.2014.
Mr. Gardiner has been a solicitor for nearly 20 years and has been working at United Utilities Group PLC since 2002 where he is the General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr. Gardiner has been a member of the Supervisory Council of AS Tallinna Vesi since 2010. Mr. Gardiner will continue playing an active role in improving the operational performance of AS Tallinna Vesi for the benefit of its customers and the environment and in protecting the interests of the Company for the benefit of its shareholders.
