EnerNOC CEO Tim Healy to Keynote Two Leading Energy Conferences

BOSTON, Oct. 7, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EnerNOC, Inc. (Nasdaq:ENOC), a leading provider of energy intelligence software (EIS), announced today that EnerNOC CEO Tim Healy has been selected to deliver keynote addresses at two upcoming energy conferences: the Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) Fall Conference, and the Ohio's Energy Future 2014 Symposium presented by Ohio Advanced Energy Economy.

In his November 5 PLMA speech, entitled "America's Energy Future," Healy will talk about the national imperative to embrace disruptive technologies in the name of national security, grid reliability, and economic prosperity. At the November 6 Ohio Symposium, Healy will address the current legislative battles in that state that are pitting generators and their interests against advocates supporting a new energy future that favors innovation.

"I'm honored to be selected as this year's keynote at both events, invited to present to such distinguished audiences. I look forward to these opportunities to energize our community of thought leaders around a vision for the future that changes the way we think about energy management," said Tim Healy. "As a nation, we can no longer afford a generation-first approach. To keep the lights on and costs low, we need to embrace proven solutions like demand response and data-driven energy efficiency, and we need to ensure our regulatory paradigms in Ohio and around the country reduce the roadblocks for new disruptive technologies and ideas."

PLMA's 15th Fall Conference will be November 4-5 in Philadelphia, PA at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. The event is sponsored by the Advanced Load Control Alliance (ALCA), Alternative Energy Systems Consulting (AESC), Comverge, EnerNOC, Emerson Climate Technologies, Genscape, Intelligent Energy Solutions (IES), Landis+Gyr, LOBOS, Nexant, NTC, OpenADR Alliance, PECO, Schneider Electric, and WeatherBug Home.
