MRI Interventions Announces Participation in Fall Medical Conferences


IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MRI Interventions, Inc. (OTCQB:MRIC) today announced its participation as an exhibitor at two major medical conferences this Fall.

From October 10-11, 2014, the company will exhibit its ClearPoint® and ClearTrace® systems at the 2014 Interventional MRI Symposium in Leipzig, Germany. The ClearPoint system, which has received FDA 510(k)-clearance and is CE-marked, is the only navigation platform on the market to enable real-time MRI-guided visualization during minimally invasive procedures in the brain. The ClearTrace system, currently in development in partnership with Siemens Healthcare, is designed to enable real-time MRI guidance for minimally invasive procedures in the heart.

From October 20-22, 2014, MRI Interventions will exhibit its ClearPoint system at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons 2014 Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts. CNS attendees are invited to visit Booth #242 on the exhibit floor to learn more about the ClearPoint navigation platform for real-time MRI-guided neurosurgery. Company representatives will be onsite to discuss and display recent ClearPoint software updates, the new SmartTwist® hand drill for minimally invasive twist drill access, and the new Scalp-Mount SmartFrame® trajectory device.
