Evergig Hits ONE MILLION concerts!

Evergig recreates concerts on demand. Bots scour the web for the best fan footage, edit it all together, enhance the audio and produce full concert videos. Evergig, the new venue for live-music fans.

PARIS, France, Oct. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Evergig.com, the specialist in the collaborative creation of concert videos, now offers the chance to live or re-live over a million concerts on its website.

Only four months after the launch of its new platform, the French start-up has far exceeded its goals and won its gamble: to offer fans a unique experience of reliving their favourite concerts by their favourite artists... for free.

THE NEW GENERATION OF ON-DEMAND CONCERT VIDEOS...

Ever wanted to experience a concert that you missed or relive one that you went to, either by yourself or with friends? Nothing could be simpler: the evergig platform offers users the chance to create a video of a desired concert, simply, on-demand and entirely for free.

Once provided with the name of the artists, the evergig robots scour the web to find the best clips filmed by fans. Algorithms then analyse the content and assemble a unique video, pieced together in an exceptionally smooth process.

A second group of algorithms - in charge of audio screening - filters out the multitude of noise which infiltrates amateur videos. These algorithms mix the audio sources in order to obtain a clearer sound, which is then synchronized with the video.

The smooth transition of clips and the quality of the montage are guaranteed, not only by the infinite number of sources used, but also by the algorithms developed by a team of six French engineers.

Evergig is currently the only platform equipped with the technology capable of identifying, naming and assembling songs which are enriched by an enhanced sound, all in only a couple dozen minutes.

...WITH A GROWING DATABASE OF OVER A MILLION CONCERTS,

The assembled videos then become part of an expanding database of over one million collaborative videos, available for free on the platform.

The breadth of the videos on offer reflects the diversity of Evergig users: from Bruno Mars' latest NYC gig, to Keith Urban's performances and Pearl Jam's energetic shows.

"One of our aims was to make use of the web to allow a maximum number of people to experience exceptional musical moments which are today still far too inaccessible. From now on, an internet user can experience a concert as if it were live at Madison Square Garden, or relive the New Year countdown show on Copacabana Beach", explains evergig's co-founders Arthur Dagard and Guillaume Jouannet. ''It is also the chance for those who attended the concert to see their own clips included in a final video, which has been assembled and optimised''.

AND A NEW PLATFORM FOR ARTISTS.

Evergig is already home to hundreds of thousands of concertgoers from around the world, and its number of users has doubled every month since its launch in June. Eternal innovation is key to evergig's success. The start-up is currently finalizing its innovative B2B offer, entirely targeted at musicians.
