GMEC Expands Asia Pacific Presence With New Subsidiary in Malaysia

HONG KONG, Oct. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Great China Mania Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:GMEC) (the "Company" or "GMEC") announces the setting up of a new joint venture subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur for regional expansion in the field of film casting, models management and event management throughout South East Asia including but not limited to Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

GMEC will be the majority shareholder of the venture and heads the operations while the local partner will invest approximately $500,000 capital into the subsidiary. GMEC anticipates to employ 8 - 10 staffs to begin with.

With a background of operating FMCG and catering businesses, the local partner of this venture has excellent connections in the local entertainment industry, artists and artists' managers through their promotional activities. GMEC will also leverage on its solid experience in artist management to extend GMEC exposures in South East Asian markets through assigning its current Malaysian talents such as Cathryn Lee (http://www.gme-holdings.com/#!-cathryn-lee/cgn1) into the venture to maximize their exposures in the region.

"Since 2013, GMEC has cooperated with the Malaysia's leading cinema exhibitor and distributor, Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd.
