Veterinarian Dr. Robert Sidorsky, the "Traveling Vet," says he will come directly to a pet owner's home. The goal of the mobile vet service is to deliver professional stress-free veterinary pet care that is convenient, practical, affordable, and easily accessible for pet owners in the comfort and privacy of their own home. This old-new option in veterinary care is currently accepting appointments for dogs, cats, and (occasionally) horses.
The Mobile Vet of Western Mass announced that the house call veterinary service is seeing pet owners throughout the Pioneer Valley, the Berkshires, and in towns in Connecticut north of Hartford. The mobile veterinary service is designed to reduce stress and anxiety for pets and streamline vet care for their owners.
"We understand that a trip to the vet can be stressful for many pets," said veterinarian and mobile clinic founder Dr. Robert Sidorsky. "Being around other animals in an unfamiliar environment, not the mention taking a car trip, causes unnecessary stress for most pets. Traveling to the vet can also be inconvenient for pet owners. With a house call vet, pet owners save time and pets can receive stress-free medical care in their own home."
The mobile vet provides many standard services typically available through a veterinary clinic or hospital. These services include: annual wellness exams, vaccinations, emergency care, lab testing, microchips, veterinary medical prescriptions, and gentle euthanasia when necessary.

Dr. Sidorsky says he likes developing a long-term relationship with each of his clients and their pets. The veterinarian, who has been practicing for more than 25 years, says he was inspired to offer a mobile veterinary house call service while practicing veterinary medicine in Shelburne Falls.

The mobile vet house call service can now see pet owners throughout the Pioneer Valley and the Berkshires. From Springfield, Agawam, Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, to Shelburne Falls, Willamstown, North Adams, Lenox and Pittsfield. The area also includes Sunderland, Montague, Deerfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, Longmeadow, Brimfield, Westfield, Easthampton, Southwick, Palmer, Ware, and Athol. In addition, the mobile vet house call service is in the process of expanding to towns north of Hartford, Connecticut, including Enfield, Windsor, and Simsbury.
