GREENBELT, MD., Oct. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Presidio announced today that it has been named one of the first four companies to commit to the Cisco Intercloud Builders channel program to build Intercloud-ready private clouds based on Cisco Intercloud fabric. Presidio was also named as one of the Intercloud Providers that will deliver next generation Intercloud enabled cloud services.
Cisco recently announced a major expansion of their Intercloud ecosystem by adding more than 30 additional companies, including international service providers Deutsche Telekom, BT, NTT DATA, and Equinix, to continue to expand the worldwide network of interconnected clouds that Cisco and its partners are rapidly developing to enable a new generation of standardized cloud applications and the proliferation of highly secure hybrid clouds. The addition will expand the reach of the Intercloud by 250 additional data centers in 50 countries.
