PLEASANTON, Calif., Oct. 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Natus Medical Incorporated (Nasdaq:BABY) today announced the launch of the Vista Ultrasound System. The Vista Ultrasound System is the first product in the market to enable the use of Ultrasound with an EMG workstation. The Vista Ultrasound System adds ultrasound capability to Natus' market leading EDX and UltraPro S100 EMG workstations. The new Vista Ultrasound System will be available worldwide.
The Vista Ultrasound system enables the performance of musculoskeletal and abdominal studies allowing the visualization of anatomic structures and landmarks useful in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders. It is a complementary technology to EMG studies performed in the hospital or private practice.
