Redwood City, Calif., Oct. 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, today announced that for the ninth consecutive year, it has achieved top marks in customer loyalty in the 2014 Data Integration Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by independent research firm TNS, a global leader in insight and information.

Furthermore, according to the 2014 survey, Informatica leads the competitive field in achieving the best scores in key areas such as overall value received relative to price paid, support programs meeting customer needs, and ability to provide global support. Informatica's flagship product, PowerCenter, makes significant gains over last year in ease of software installation, reliability and price competitiveness.

In additional survey findings:

·         91 percent of Informatica customers surveyed said they intend to repurchase Informatica solutions.

·         97 percent of Informatica customers with annual revenues in excess of $10 billion said they intend to repurchase from Informatica.

·         89 percent of Informatica customers said they are likely to spend at the same or higher levels in 2014 compared to 2013.

Each year, TNS surveys customers of vendors offering data integration products. The survey measures the relevance of numerous categories of customer satisfaction such as product quality, customer support, and professional services to determine how vendors perform in each area. Customers are asked to share views and perceptions of all the vendors across a range of attributes and measures. These measures are combined to present a ProCLI (Customer Loyalty Index), or the loyalty score, which measures customer engagement.
