TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2014) - BNP Paribas Investment Partners has appointed Rodolphe (Rudy) de Candé as Head of Business Development in Canada. In this role, Rudy will focus on further developing our Canadian business, delivering a range of global capabilities to institutional investors across the country. In addition, he will continue to build our distribution partner sub-advisory relationships with Canadian banks, mutual fund companies and fund distributors. Rudy will be based in Toronto and will continue to report to James Johnston, Head of North American Sales who is based in New York.

Prior to joining the US Sales team, Rudy was director of the business development team at BNP Paribas Asset Management based in London, covering Global Distributors in Europe. He started his career in 1997 at Merrill Lynch in Argentina in the Global Private Client division.
